Verification vacancy example 1

Experienced ASIC Verification Engineers. The role will focus on defining and implementing SoC and module level functional verification environments using the latest advanced verification techniques, making use of high level verification languages and associated methodologies. The role may also involve many, or all, parts of the development flow from block or system level specification and RTL design of modules for use in ASIC or FPGA, through functional verification, synthesis and timing closure, to silicon validation and production test.
The successful candidate will have the following skills / experience:

  • High-level Verification Language experience (e.g. SystemVerilog (preferred), Vera, ‘e’ or SystemC)
  • Experience of developing verification plans from scratch
  • Experience of architecting layered, re-usable, self-checking testbenches
  • Bandgaps and references
  • Methodology experience (e.g. AVM(preferred), RVM, VMM, eRM or OSCI TLM)
  • Experience of the following verification techniques: Constrained Random Testing, Functional Coverage,Assertion Based Verification and Coverage, Scoreboards, Protocol Monitors
  • Experience of SoC designs
  • RTL design (VHDL or Verilog)
  • Good Engineering degree or equivalent
