Experienced ASIC Verification Engineers.
The role will focus on defining and
implementing SoC and module level
functional verification environments
using the latest advanced verification
techniques, making use of high level
verification languages and associated
methodologies. The role may also involve
many, or all, parts of the development
flow from block or system level
specification and RTL design of modules
for use in ASIC or FPGA, through
functional verification, synthesis and
timing closure, to silicon validation
and production test.
The successful candidate will have the
following skills / experience:
- High-level Verification Language
experience (e.g. SystemVerilog (preferred), Vera, ‘e’ or SystemC)
- Experience of developing verification plans from scratch
- Experience of architecting layered, re-usable, self-checking testbenches
- Bandgaps and references
- Methodology experience (e.g.
AVM(preferred), RVM, VMM, eRM or OSCI TLM)
- Experience of the following verification techniques: Constrained
Random Testing, Functional Coverage,Assertion Based Verification and
Coverage, Scoreboards, Protocol Monitors
- Experience of SoC designs
- RTL design (VHDL or Verilog)
- Good Engineering degree or equivalent

Mixed Signal Verification Engineer
• Top level and block level verification
environment using SystemVerilog, Verilog,
VerilogAMS, VHDL, SystemC and Cadence/Synopsys
tools
• Pre-Si verification environment setup
(simulation plan, spec compliance matrix
and testbenches/verification environment
for development and regression testing)
• Pre-Si Verification working in close
interaction with HW design, System and
Product/Test engineers to ensure silicon
vs. spec match
• Modeling of building blocks to shorten
simulation time (schematic, VerilogAMS,
Verilog)
• Test planning of the above (and DFT
where needed)
• Interface to autolayout engineer to
iteratively optimize for required
parameters such as area,
power-consumption and performance
• Design and coding reviews of own and
team mates output
• Compliance with team design / coding
guidelines and needs
• Use of revision control tools and
environment (i.e. design synch)
• Use of bug tracking tools and
environment
Qualifications:
• MS degree in electronics or equivalent
• At least 3 years professional
experience in the design and/or
verification of analog/digital
integrated circuits, preferably in power
management or alternatively automotive
• Experience with state of the art EDA
tools
• Solid knowledge in the theory of
feedback loops
• Good communication skills in English
and German
